War Child Statement on Israeli Airstrike on Partner Organisation Kalimat Association

War Child strongly condemns the Israeli airstrike on the premises of our partner, Kalimat Association on Sunday 5 April.
The strike resulted in the destruction of our partner's offices and severe disruption to their operations. This attack has directly impacted the continuity of critical activities and programmes serving children and families under already extremely difficult conditions.
War Child stand in solidarity with Kalimat and call for the protection of civilians, humanitarian actors, and civilian infrastructure at all times, in line with international humanitarian law.
Our immediate concern remains the safety and wellbeing of Kalimat’s staff, partners, and the communities they serve.
